I had so much fun working with this family, I have known them for years. Our kids have gone to school together since 1996. They have always impressed and inspired me, but never as much as they have over the past few years. Their daughter Alyssa was crushed by a soccer goal and has endured surgery after surgery, been confined to wheelchairs, told she'd never walk or have children, and so many other hurdles have been thrown their way. With their faith, love and determination, they have managed to conquer one of the biggest hurdles and I was overjoyed to be able to photograph Alyssa walking. She has a long way to go and a lot of work ahead of her, but walking none the less. Another hurdle thrown their way was 10 long heartbreaking years of trying to have a baby for Alyssa's Dad and Stepmom. After hope was lost, alas, they are with child. I was also able to photograph the moment they showed the kids pregnancy test, presented in a wrapped box. Tears of joy were flowing from everyone!! This family is so close and so loving and so deserving of these miracles they are receiving...please pray they receive more!

These are the first of our Little Lids Sessions....we have all shapes, styles and colors...be on the lookout for the cutest little baby in hats pictures. The hats are also for sale.....great baby show gift...a hat with a session! This guy is Jacob...I did his mommy's beautiful maternity session and was so excited when I got the call that this little guy was born and ready for his first of many photo shoots!! He was a great little model!

Ha....must be why we are friends...too much alike...Margarette....it is hard to get clear and sharp pictures if you are making me laugh my ass off! Here is a sneak peak! Never have I ever felt so out of shape and overweight than I did when I did this shoot!! These girls are in shape! So lets just say I am going to be working out at Core Value now!! It seems like any time I have seen someone lose weight and get in shape, they always say they did it at Core Value!! Let's hope they can help me out!

Too cute! We had a blast! Kathryn is such a sweetheart and so motivated. Kathryn actually scouted out a few locations she wanted....this was a switch for me! Awesome job! Love the antique firetruck! They are going to have a really hard time picking her pictures! I had a hard time narrowing them down, I just couldn't say no to any of them ;)
